Process
The Seal Hi-Rise community commissioned me to design a mural and run a paint day. It was such a blast; filled with community, vibrancy and fun. We created an awesome piece of street art for all to enjoy. I was able to custom mix colors to give this project some extra detail. We also brought a seal into the design to represent this hi-rise community as well as whimsical characters which represented the animals and foliage of Minnesota. It was a great day and added an awesome piece of art for all to enjoy!
Execution
This was a one day community street mural event. I needed to be prepared to facilitate a lot of people and make sure it ran efficiently. I sectioned off the areas so that people could paint without getting in one another's way and walk around. It was free flowing so I took an hour to draw it out, matching the chalk to the paint color. Creating a very specific and well organized process for many hands to be on it at one time. I also was able to delegate stations for painting, cleanup and the like to support the smooth flow of the event.

We used local animals except for this one because it was special for the residents of the Seal Hi-Rise Community.
