Fox Den Board Game Café

For this project, I had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with a team of board game enthusiasts to bring their vision of an inclusive, welcoming board game café to life. Located in Burnsville, Minnesota, Fox Den Board Game Café, the space was designed to foster community and fun for players of all levels, with the added convenience of an on-site café.

Working alongside Liina Lundin of Liina Co., who developed the branding and design concept, I created murals that reflect the dynamic energy and creativity of the space. The artwork integrates bold, playful colors and imagery inspired by Liina’s vision and the owners’ ideas, capturing the spirit of fun and connection that defines the café. This project was a true team effort: the owners were hands-on throughout the process, often joining in to paint alongside me. Their enthusiasm and dedication made this collaboration uniquely rewarding. We had so much fun creating that we continued with a second project, adding vibrant artwork to their private game rooms, further enhancing the café’s unique charm.

The result is a vibrant, inviting space that’s perfect for game nights, semi-private parties, and building connections over a shared love of board games. Visit @foxdenbgc to see how this special community hub has come to life!
